Dramatic progress has been made in mankind's dominion over the air since the December morning in 1903 when a frail, kitelike machine bore Orville Wright aloft and carried him safely a distance of one hundred and twenty feet across the sands of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Today air travel has become an accepted convenience of twentieth century living. However, many people still have difficulty in overcoming the fear of flying.
