I have had and have witnessed many healings through Christian Science. When our daughter was young, her teeth projected badly. She attended a Christian Science Sunday School, and one day I read a testimony in the Sentinel by a mother whose child's teeth were straightened through Science. I spoke of this to my daughter, and we decided to do some prayerful work about it. I am grateful to say that before long the teeth went into their normal position.

One day a member of my family, who did not rely on Christian Science for healing, did not feel well. I slept in the same room with her that night. The next day a doctor who was called to assist her diagnosed the illness as scarlet fever and enquired of me if I had had this complaint. I replied that I had not, and he said, "You will get it." Immediately I mentally denied this statement, claiming my immunity as in reality God's perfect, spiritual idea.

During his subsequent visits the doctor watched me closely, and one day I began to feel ill myself. I held to the presence of good and prayed (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 16):
