"He pleased God"

"In teaching his followers how to please God, Christ Jesus became the Way-shower to eternal life."

Readers of "Unity of Good" by Mrs. Eddy will find this statement on page 43: "The achievement of this ultimatum of Science, complete triumph over death, requires time and immense spiritual growth." In the sentence preceding this, our Leader states, "The present mortal sense of being is too finite for anchorage in infinite good, God, because mortals now believe in the possibility that Life can be evil."
