Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Oconomowoc, Wisconsin (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, will formally dedicate its church building on Sunday, September 18, at two services, one at 11 a.m. and the other at 3 p.m....

According to church history, the organization began in 1897 when a group of interested persons started holding services in the Wollin Building. The group was recognized by The Mother Church in 1909 as a Christian Science Society.
