Since the publication of my first...
Since the publication of my first testimony in the Sentinel in 1931, my study and practice of Christian Science have continued to open the door of my understanding, and much in the way of spiritualization of thought, healing, and happiness has resulted.
About ten years ago when my husband and I were on our way to a church meeting, our car was struck by a city bus, and we were unconscious until we awoke in a hospital. The insurance inspector described our car as a total wreck, and settlement was later made on that basis. At the hospital my husband was said to have sustained a serious concussion.
When he regained consciousness, he gave a hospital attendant the name of a friend, a Christian Science practitioner, who came to us immediately. The following afternoon the latter graciously arranged for our removal to his home, where we stayed for two weeks and were given loving and considerate attention.
