"There is in God naught fantastic"
God, Christian Science teaches, is infinite, universal good, and man, His perfect, eternal expression, is safely cared for in every respect by Him. There is only unfolding spiritual certainty and perfection in the realm of God. Since God is Spirit, or Mind, and is All-in-all, there is no mortality or materiality in His entire creation. There is nothing in God which can be subjected to material conditions. There are no mortal statistics or fatalistic chances to contend with in God. The more clearly one understands God and his own actual existence in God's kingdom, the less the beliefs of chance will enter into his experience.
According to mortal belief, our lives are fatalistically governed by chance or by some other superstition. The erroneous assumption, concurred in by mortals, that chance governs their lives may seem to fulfill the conditions of the beliefs of statisticians and others. But in Christian Science we learn of the law of God which reverses the prognostications concerning those things which mortal mind claims individuals might expect to occur in their lives.
