Of Good Report

A Program of Spiritual Activity

From time to time inspiring reports come to us from the Field of steps taken by our branches to promote their usefulness to the community and consequent growth of the individual church. In this regard one branch of The Mother Church relates some splendid results from a program of spiritual activity and inspirational meetings.

A thorough study of the Manual of The Mother Church by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, was the special project of the year, and the importance of doing prayerful work for the church community was emphasized. In these meetings members read papers which they had prepared on such timely subjects as supply, gratitude and fulfillment, persistence and victory, and the value of church to its members. Much fruitage was reported, church problems were faced and solved, and individuals were blessed in numerous ways.

One member rejoiced that a teen-ager living on her street asked to go to the Christian Science Sunday School with her. A next door neighbor called this member and told her she wanted to talk to someone healthy and happy and requested some Christian Science literature. She now has "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and has had a beautiful healing.
