One night when my husband...
One night when my husband and I were out in the country, he drove into a parked trailer truck that had such poor lights he could not see it. I was thrown forward, cutting my face badly and receiving bruises on my body. A Bible verse which helped me very much was this one (Job 11:15): "For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear." In less than a week my face was healed, and no scars were left on it, nor were any bruises left.
I have also had healings of influenza, food poisoning, and many other difficulties, including grief when my father and mother passed on.
About a year after we were married, my husband developed a goiter. He had Christian Science treatment intermittently for two years, but the goiter still remained. Then he was taken very ill with a throat ailment, and the goiter became enlarged. He was confined to bed, and the throat condition became so bad he thought he could not stand it any longer.
