A military commander employs his forces in such a way as to destroy the supply lines and control positions of the enemy so that the opposing forces will have no place from which to operate. He also endeavors at times to establish bridgeheads, which will serve as bases from which he can advance against the enemy. Similar methods are available to those Christian soldiers who battle the claims of error and materiality.
