I have had many healings through Christian Science, including those of catarrh, migraine, bronchial coughs, hemorrhoids, a broken rib, and a skin disease. No matter what the condition is, we need never despair, because divine Love is always present and can be relied on to bring freedom from suffering and discord.

An outstanding healing of one of our boys was that of asthma. He had suffered from this disease from the time he was nine years old. My husband was not interested in Christian Science, and I was a beginner myself; so there was much fear expressed. We tried many doctors and specialists, but the boy steadily grew worse. This went on for six years. One day the boy became very ill. I knew that my husband, who was away on a business trip, would want me to consult a doctor, and I felt that I should comply with his wishes. But this time I was not fearful, for f had grown stronger in my understanding of Christian Science.

The doctor did his best to relieve the boy, but nothing had am effect on him; he had grown immune to material remedies. The doctor finally said that he would like to take him to a hospital, since he was afraid the boy had bronchial pneumonia. I told him I should like to think over this proposal before agreeing to it.
