God Helps Us with Everything

Elsie was a Christian Scientist, and she used to tell her mother thoughts that meant something special to her.

"God loves everybody," she said one day. "Just think, Mother, God loves us so much, He is right here to help us with everything."

"Yes, I know,"' her mother answered. "And that's what the messages on the front wall of the church teach us. One by Jesus reads (John 8:32), 'Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.' And the other is by Mrs. Eddy (Science and Health, p. 494), 'Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.'" Elsie remembered them because they were printed in big gold letters above the organist's bench.
