Ask for the Best

"We ask...perhaps, for only a part of good,... when the whole of it, spiritually, is ours"

The human heart seems constantly to be asking for something. Indeed, if it gave thanks for good already received as often as it asks for something more, human experience would be substantially transformed. A point to be considered is whether we pray most often for what we actually need or for what we think we need.
