It is now fifty-four years since Christian Science first came into my experience, and I think it is time for me to give written testimony to the benefits which I have received. There have been so many experiences of protection, guidance, and supply that they could not be contained in an entire issue of the Sentinel.

At one time my firm had just completed a high voltage substation, and a thorough check had been made of the installation. I was inside the substation preparing to throw the switch which would energize the equipment. As I did so, one of the transformers, which was defective, exploded. The door of the station was open; this afforded some protection in that the building was not blown up.

Those outside the station told me that I was lifted about a foot and a half off the floor. All I remember is a blinding white flash and an explosion within about six feet of where I was standing. The air cleared away, and I found that I had not been touched in any manner by the blast. I was able to walk away from the station without aid. I called a Christian Science practitioner immediately and asked for help through prayer in overcoming the sense of shock and pressure. I was able to continue my work, and within a few days manifested normal health and activity again.
