EVERLASTING LIGHT

Isaiah 60:19

Let us grow lovelier as years advance
With wisdom, tolerance, and shining grace
That manifest a radiance to enhance
The beauty of expression in each face.
Let us grow kindlier that every deed
May glow with bright unselfishness unfurled—
An aureole of friendliness to speed
The brotherhood of man throughout the world.
Then years will count as nought, for who can find
A sense of time in virtues that display
The everlasting brilliancy of Mind
In the eternal sparkle of each ray?
God's glory kindles this resplendency
In flaming proof of immortality.
