"I healed him on the spot"

A brief but inspiring account of instantaneous healing in Christian Science is related on page 145 of "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany." The healing was performed by Mrs. Eddy during the building of Christian Science Hall in Concord, New Hampshire. Writing of this experience herself, she says, "One day the carpenters' foreman said to me: 'I want to be let off for a few days. I do not feel able to keep about. I am feeling an old ailment my mother had.' I healed him on the spot."
