Of Good Report
More Fruitage from Our Lectures
The Reading Room committee of a jointly maintained Reading Room in a large city expresses gratitude for the work of the members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship in the following letter:
"Our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, records in 'Miscellaneous Writings' (p. 321), 'My heart is filled with joy, that each receding year sees the steady gain of Truth's idea in Christian Science; that each recurring year witnesses the balance adjusted more on the side of God, the supremacy of Spirit; as shown by the triumphs of Truth over error, of health over sickness, of Life over death, and of Soul over sense."
"The recent lectures in this vicinity bear out the truth of these words, in healing and in attracting many new people to Christian Science. Following the noonday lecture downtown, many strangers came to the Reading Room to borrow and buy our books. They also purchased our periodicals, especially the Christian Science Quarterly."
