The
Old Testament in speaking of the Lord, or Jehovah, or the Lord God of Israel, emphasizes God's leading and guiding of His people and His revealing of His law to them.
Two-tone
effects are readily appreciated in the furnishing of our homes, in automobiles, in our attire, and in many amenities of daily life.
Does
the statement, "God is the only employer," seem too high-flown to be of practical use in our daily work or in our search for right employment?
Christ Jesus
stated clearly, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing".

maternal grandmother was the first of our family to take up the study of Christian Science.

had a number of years of unhappiness, confused thinking, and, finally, poor health before the persistent study of Christian Science and adherence to its Christly truths broke the spell of disillusionment that bound me.
Many
years ago my mother was healed in Christian Science after she had been told she must have two operations, one for appendicitis and one for a sciatic difficulty.
I have
known of Christian Science since I was very young, but it was not until after I was married and was expecting my second child that I really began to study.
