It is because I have derived so much inspiration and encouragement from reading the testimonies of healing in our periodicals that I feel impelled to make my small contribution to the paean of praise and thanksgiving to God for revealing Himself to this age through our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.

I first heard of Christian Science through a sermon which was preached against it; but when I met two dear people who really lived its teachings, I realized that they had a religion about which I wanted to know more, and I became interested in it in spite of what I considered to be my better judgment.

Up to that time I had always believed that supply came to me as the result of my own efforts and that I was to a large extent dependent on the good will of my employers. Because I also suffered from a marked inferiority complex, my efforts were not very successful.
