I wish to express my gratitude...

I wish to express my gratitude for all the blessings which my family has received through the study of Christian Science. These have been many", and outstanding among them is an experience I had about two years ago.

One Sunday morning I became so confused halfway through my study of the Lesson-Sermon, taken from the Christian Science Quarterly, that I was unable to finish it and was obliged to ask my wife to read the last sections to me. Later in the day when we tried to read the lesson for the coming week together, as is our custom, I was totally unable to carry on my part in the reading.

Lack of physical co-ordination became apparent in addition to the mental confusion, seemingly the result of what may have been a slight stroke. We both began promptly to pray in order to reverse the evidence before the material senses. On Monday morning, and again on Tuesday morning, it was necessary for my wife to read to me; but by Tuesday evening I was able to read coherently and to resume my accustomed activities. Within a very short while I was in normal health.
