For over thirty-five years I have been a student of Christian Science. My first healing was that of a nervous breakdown. It was slow, but improvement was manifested constantly. All along the way the presence of the Christ was evidenced in renewed strength and inspiration.

One daughter was cured in a few hours of a severe case of mumps.

At Christmas time one year I took our two young girls into the city to see the Christmas displays in the stores. At one point I suddenly realized that the younger daughter was not with us. Instantly I declared that divine Love held her hand and would not let it go. I went to the lost-and-found desk, called my home, and then went to a comparatively quiet spot on a stairway where I could cling to this truth. Upon my third visit to the lost-and-found desk, the attendant greeted me with a radiant face. She said my husband had called to say that the child was on her way home with a neighbor. She had found herself in an elevator without us and decided to look for her father's office. But she walked directly west, the opposite direction of the office, until she saw the depot.
