RADIO PROGRAM No. 420 - The Father's Daily Care

SPEAKER: Christ Jesus said. "Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him."

"The Father's Daily Care" is the subject under discussion today. Our guests include Mrs. Maria Soubier, of Chicago, Illinois, who for many years has been an active Christian Scientist, and John Twiford, of Santa Monica, California, Mr. Twiford is a sergeant with the Santa Monica police force and he's had a number of experiences which throw some light on the subject under discussion today.

MR. TWIFORD: When I first came to California in 1937 I became ill with a streptococcic infection and with tetanus, resulting in lockjaw. The condition got to the point where I couldn't move one side of my body. It was completely paralyzed. Finally, the doctor said there was nothing more he could do for me. I was living with an aunt and uncle, and my aunt was a student of Christian Science. She asked me what I wanted to do: whether I cared to go to the hospital to be looked after or whether I wanted to have Christian Science treatment.
