A Spiritual Method of Warfare

Christ Jesus' spiritual method of healing sin and disease is as effective now as it was in his day. In fact, thousands of Christian Scientists in many parts of the world are proving this at the present moment, leading upright and healthy lives because of the redemptive power of the Christ, which reveals the truth of man's oneness with God as His expression.

Naturally these Scientists look with confidence upon Christianity as fully capable of releasing men from other threats of destructive evil forces, including the specter of global warfare. While adequate military preparation as a national policy is at present essential, there is a sincere desire on the part of most people to find a better way than armed conflict to settle difficulties.

Christian Scientists have found spiritual means to lie so effective in solving various kinds of problems—often after material means have failed—that they eagerly search the Scriptures, and particularly the teachings of Christ Jesus, to find guidance in meeting and overcoming whatever threatens the security and well-being of themselves and others.
