On page 114 of Science and Health...

On page 114 of Science and Health we read, "The spiritually unscientific definition of mind is based on the evidence of the physical senses, which makes minds many and calls mind both human and divine." Our Leader writes also (ibid., Pref., p vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings."

These statements proved most helpful to me in working out a problem which involved disappointment, delay, and indecision with regard to a real estate transaction. When my husband retired from business, we were free to travel. We spent a vacation in another state. It had many advantages, and there were attractions there which pleased us so much that we decided to return to our own state, sell our property, and then establish a new home in the state of our choice. We secured a buyer immediately, the usual transactions were begun, and all seemed to be well. However, after many unexpected delays we found that our buyer was having difficulty in bringing the deal to completion.

As time went on I found myself growing impatient and less enthusiastic about making the change. I was not being alert to know that "all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Rom. 8:28).
