AGE OF SCIENCE

Pearl Strachan Hurd

The compound at the Master's elevation
included home and work and transportation,
even talking with an earlier generation.

What greater freedom through what unknown door?
And where outside of thought could we explore
the infinite—inherent in the core?

All mentally built-in and ours to hold.
And every thought, new-rocketed, a bold
claim on a universe by Love controlled.
