How Meekness Procures Might
"The path that winds upward starts in the valley of meekness"
In Christian Science practice, meekness is essential to the demonstration of divine power. In his hillside sermon, Christ Jesus, the master Metaphysician, declared (Matt. 5:5), "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth." In "Miscellaneous Writings," Mrs. Eddy says (p. 360), "Meekness, moderating human desire, inspires wisdom and procures divine power."
