The Healing Truths of the Bible

"Biblical healings were not supernatural, nor could they be limited to a certain era"

When she was the victim of an accident which threatened to be fatal, Mrs. Eddy turned to the Bible, which she had always loved and studied. Through a clear apprehension of the account in the ninth chapter of Matthew of Christ Jesus' healing of the palsied man, our Leader was soon restored to health. After this experience, she realized that Biblical healings were not supernatural, nor could they be limited to a certain era; for it is divinely natural and understandable that a perfect creator would maintain His creation in a state of perfection.
