In a copy of the Sentinel in 1939 a testimony of mine was published. In the years that have intervened, great blessings have followed, and we have had many proofs of God's care in time of trouble. In addition to the three children born under Christian Science treatment prior to that time, two other children have since been born at home under Christian Science treatment, and the births were harmonious.

Over the years financial security has been enjoyed. I have been engaged in interesting and rewarding work, including the opportunity of helping others through the application of Christian Science. This has been my greatest joy, and I have also appreciated active participation as a teacher in the Christian Science Sunday School and as a worker in other church activities.

At one time one of our daughters, then three years of age, became ill with scarlet fever. We complied with the law relating to contagious diseases, and the health department was notified. A doctor called, but no medication was given. A Christian Science practitioner was asked to help us. She worked prayerfully for my daughter for several hours. As a result, the child's delirious condition disappeared. She took nourishment and within a short time completely recovered. Her six-month-old brother was untouched by the disease.
