More than fifty years ago I became interested in Christian Science. Through this study I have found much joy, peace, and confidence. Some of the healings that I have experienced have destroyed the dark shadows mortal mind tried to present.

One such healing was that of a skin eruption which covered my whole face and head. Whenever I looked into the mirror or whenever anyone drew attention to the condition, the thought of God's goodness to man would predominate, and I would silently declare that God's love is present to destroy doubt and fear. In gaining this healing, I realized that only God, good, is power, and I affirmed persistently Mind's allness and the nothingness of error. These words of St. Paul, in speaking of the Christ, came to me (Col. 2:9): "In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."

By realizing that self-pity, mortal yearning, and the belief of death are carnal and not of God, I have had healings of erroneous character traits. I have found lost articles through the application of the truths of Christian Science.
