I have long wanted to give a testimony to tell of my sincere appreciation of and thankfulness for blessings and healings that have come to me through the study of Christian Science.

With the help of a Christian Science practitioner, my daughter was healed of a severe earache when she was in the eighth grade in school. She is now a grown woman and has a son going to the Christian Science Sunday School.

When my mother passed on, I was helped in the overcoming of grief. About five years ago I was healed of a severe back trouble that had caused me to call for assistance when rising from a sitting position. The healing came about as I held to the passage in Science and Health which reads (p. 495): "When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea. Allow nothing but His likeness to abide in your thought. Let neither fear nor doubt overshadow your clear sense and calm trust, that the recognition of life harmonious—as Life eternally is—can destroy any painful sense of, or belief in, that which Life is not. Let Christian Science, instead of corporeal sense, support your understanding of being, and this understanding will supplant error with Truth, replace mortality with immortality, and silence discord with harmony."
