I first heard of Christian Science...
I first heard of Christian Science when I was very young. We moved next door to a Christian Science practitioner, and my mother greatly respected this woman. Several years later my music teacher, who was a Christian Scientist, invited me to go to Sunday School. I accepted the invitation and continued attending until the age of twenty. Then I became a member of a branch church and of The Mother Church and also had the privilege of class instruction.
Through the immediate and loving help of a practitioner I was instantaneously healed of grief when a loved son passed on. Also, a member of my family most patiently helped me in the healing of hemorrhoids.
On another occasion I found that when, without reservations, one reaches out to Spirit, God, the results are immediate. One day, while shopping in a city several miles distant from my home, I severely sprained my ankle.
