GOD'S LAW—"I AM ALL"

[of Special Interest to Young People]

In "No and Yes." Mrs. Eddy says (p. 30), "God's law is in three words, 'I am All;' and this perfect law is ever present to rebuke any claim of another law."

This statement of truth was certainly proved to be true in the case of Tom, who was a junior in high school and a member of the high school football team. The great goal of each boy on the team was to be able to play twenty-one quarters in the ten games that were played throughout the season. This would earn him a letter and a wool jacket with the letter on it at the end of the football season.

Tom was quarterback and played behind a senior quarterback whose playing was outstanding, and therefore he was awarded the honor of being on the All-City team, the All-Conference team, and the All-State team. He was such a good player that the coaches hardly ever took him out of a game, and, of course, this kept Tom from playing. This lack of playing upset Tom and made him very unhappy and at times rather angry. His parents were also upset.
