EVERY IDEA OF GOD IS COMPLETE

It is the nature of God to create only that which is complete and perfect. Since God is complete, His reflection must express completeness. Christian Science gives its students explicit directions in the application of the truth of infinite completeness to daily affairs. If one is laboring under the belief that any aspect of his life is not complete, the clear understanding that man is spiritually and eternally complete will operate in human consciousness to correct the seeming lack.

If one's business seems to be lacking some necessary ingredient, one needs to understand the nature of true business and then to manifest God's qualities more and more in daily routine. And what are some of the qualities of God manifested in true business? Business as a complete idea includes activity. Regardless of the arguments of lack of activity, one can always be spiritually active in gaining and demonstrating a deeper, clearer comprehension of God as divine Principle and of man as Principle's idea. This demonstrates the true and unlimited business. Business includes integrity, and the more one comprehends and expresses this quality of God in daily affairs, the more completely he is in business.

In the Bible we are told of God's creation of the heaven and the earth and all that each contains. This creation is described as very good. Creation is spiritual, for God is Spirit, and Spirit cannot express a fallible opposite of itself—matter, lack, limitation, inaction, sin, disease, death. In describing what was made by God, the inspired writer says (Gen. 2:1), "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them."
