In the spring of 1955 I was accepted for class instruction in Christian Science. A few months later, my husband was transferred to Germany for three years. Since we had no savings, my returning for class seemed out of the question. However, a most unusual situation arose that made it possible for me to have my way paid on a ship from Bremerhaven to New York and return.
Just two days before the time of my departure, my husband received a sum of money, which was enough to cover the round trip fare from a southern German city to Bremerhaven and from New York to the Middle West, where the class was to be held. A short time later my husband was able to mail to me the money to pay for class instruction.
In the following two years, a special circumstance arose which entitled me to a half-fare round trip to America. This enabled me to attend my association meetings. Each occasion was proof to me that time, space, or lack of dollars cannot stand in the way of the demonstration of the fact that man is always present with God and is therefore never out of place.
