"Trials are proofs of God's care." This statement on page 66 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy has been demonstrated in many ways in my family.

When my husband passed on in 1950, leaving me with two small daughters, I was encouraged and helped by a Christian Science practitioner until the sense of grief and separation was overcome. We have been wonderfully protected and supplied.

Among the many problems that have been overcome through the application of Christian Science are colds, so-called childhood diseases, and burns from grease. Some of the healings were instantaneous, while others took a period of time. Some were met through my own work and others with the help of practitioners.
