JILL PASSES A SWIMMING TEST

JILL knew that Christian Science teaches us how to heal unhappy situations. In the Christian Science Sunday School she learned about God through studying the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, and the Lord's Prayer with its spiritual interpretation, given in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

Jill also learned about God and His goodness from Science and Health. The definition of God on page 587 of this textbook was especially helpful to her. It reads: "The great I AM; the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-acting, all-wise, all-loving, and eternal; Principle;Mind; Soul; Spirit; Life; Truth; Love; all substance; intelligence."

Because she had learned that she was really God's child, or God's reflection, Jill enjoyed thinking of God in all the different ways He is described in this definition.
