In the summer of 1942 my first...
In the summer of 1942 my first testimony appeared in one of our Christian Science periodicals. So many blessings have come my way that I should like to testify again.
Some time ago, late in the evening, I fell while getting out of the bathtub and broke two ribs. I did my own mental work; but when, after two days, the pain in breathing did not leave me, I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner, and I responded so quickly that I was completely free within a few days.
During my twenty-six years in the United States, I have used a bicycle for transportation. On one occasion, I experienced a bad fall. No bones were broken; but there were severe lacerations, and my face was bruised. This was on a Thursday, and I asked for help from a practitioner. I continued to declare vigorously that nothing could take man from his rightful place, which is established in Mind, God. By the following Sunday morning nearly every scar had disappeared. Joyously I was able to teach my Sunday School class, and not one remark about my appearance was made by my pupils.
