I was introduced to Christian Science in my early years. In 1917 I was healed of muscular rheumatism of the eyes through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. As a result I was able to lay aside glasses. I had been wearing them for five years, and the doctor said I would always have to wear them.

In 1926 I realized I had been healed of a large goiter which I had had for a number of years. This healing was slow because I kept looking for physical results; but when I prayed earnestly to God and became deeply interested in learning the truths of Christian Science and their application to all material problems, I found that the goiter had disappeared.

I was healed in 1935 of an organic condition which caused me great discomfort, and an abnormal discharge of nine years stopped. This healing came instantaneouly while I was reading an article in the current issue of the Sentinel entitled "Be, Not Get." When I realized the full meaning and significance of the word "Be," I was completely healed. These healings have remained permanent and are only three of the many I have had in my long experience in Christian Science.
