INVENTORY
What
have I in the house? Well, let me see.
First, there is faith, the substance of the things
One hopes for; I should add to that, it brings
High dividends. Next, for security,
Some shares of understanding; a wise man
Strongly commended them some time ago
For principal investment. If I owe
My neighbor aught of kindliness, I can
Charge my account of love and liquidate
All of the debt, for Love's reserves are mine.
The Father's words, "All that I have is thine,"
Grant a clear title to my real estate
Of harmony and happiness and health.
How can I ever estimate such wealth!
