I am deeply grateful for Christian Science...
I am deeply grateful for Christian Science and can never be grateful enough to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and for all the other writings which she has given to us.
About forty years ago I became ill with a very painful condition. The two medical physicians in attendance gave no name to the disease, and their treatments gave me very little relief. I became discouraged and did not know which way to turn. Then Christian Science was presented to me, and I was ready to accept it.
I began to study the textbook and was benefited by this statement which has meant much to me ever since (Science and Health, Pref., p. vii): "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." With the prayerful help of another student of Christian Science, my healing was complete within one week.
