With humility and deep gratitude for the manifold blessings I have received through the application of Christian Science, I submit this testimony in the hope that it may help others to demonstrate the facts of this Science as I have.

I was studying music in a Western German city and had been suffering from extreme fear for quite some time. This fear manifested itself in distressing dreams. In consequence, I was exhausted and confused the next morning.

One day, during a summer vacation in my native city, I was invited to play with some other musicians at the country home of a Christian Scientist. We had a happy time together, and before I went to sleep I knocked at the door of my hostess and told her that I sometimes shouted in my dreams, but there was no need to be frightened. She asked me to come in.
