BLESSINGS FROM ENTERTAINING ANGELS

One of the most rewarding results of studying and applying Christian Science, as set forth by Mary Baker Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," comes from learning to companion with angels. In the glossary of this textbook is found a definition of "angels" which reads (p. 581): "God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality."

When one honestly desires to be motivated by good and is earnestly striving to be directed by God, divine Mind, he is conscious of these angel thoughts, which have their source in God. These messages are constantly flowing from God to His creation.

"The inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality" establishes our at-one-ment with God, divine Principle, and results in guidance and protection. God's messages are freely received by all whose thinking is humble enough to receive them.
