It is with deep gratitude to God...
It is with deep gratitude to God and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for Christian Science that I write this testimony. The knowledge that God is the only Mind has helped me to see the unreality of discordant conditions and to know that they are unreal because they are not of God.
Several years ago I awoke one morning and found to my dismay that I was so ill I could not lift my head off the pillow. At first I was filled with fear. My husband, understanding that nothing is real that God did not create, very calmly said, "You know this illness is a lie."
I then realized that this was an unreal condition that could not touch me because as a child of God, I was spiritual and perfect.
