Supporting the Church and Its Activities Through Daily Prayer

"The structure of Truth and Love" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 583) is not a street address; it is not a cathedral of stone and steel and leaded glass. It is the spiritual abiding place of God's ideas. It is as universal as Truth and as permanent; as peaceful as the kingdom of heaven and as happifying. It is the limitless field of man's God-ordained activity, for it is the boundless spiritual realm of Truth and Love, where man, the spiritual image of God, has his entire being and expresses intelligence and love.

To understand the beauty, harmony, and uninterrupted functioning of Church is to love it; to recognize the demands it makes on us is to have the holy desire to fulfill them. That is the only way we can really live in Church and be of it.
