Four years ago kind friends made me acquainted with Christian Science. Today I want to express my gratitude for a wonderful healing I experienced through my unbounded faith in its teachings.

Owing to an apparently serious heart condition, I became incapacitated in September, 1953, and was taken to a hospital where I had to lie perfectly still for many weeks. Dismayed and deeply distressed, my wife came to my bedside. I said to her: "Everything is in God's hand. Just be calm, and please go home." After many weeks I was allowed to get up and move around a little more each day.

Finally, the last examination had taken place, and the last electrocardiogram had been made. The doctor prescribed further treatment: a two months' cure, six months away from any work, and retirements from my work as a sports coach.
