HAVE YOU PRAYED FOR MANKIND TODAY?

In the seventeenth chapter of John is recorded Christ Jesus' inspiring prayer, "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their world ; that all may be one ; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that also may be one in us."

These immortal words uttered by the Saviour of mankind epitomize the essence of his teachings, namely the fatherhood of God and the universal brotherhood of man. Christian Science, which is in accord with the words and works of Christ Jesus, also proclaims man's indissoluble oneness with his Father — Mother God as His reflection, as well as the harmonious relationship of all God's ideas.

The universal concept of prayer in Christian Science was employed by the beloved Discoverer and Founder of this Science, Mary Baker Eddy, whose lifework was imbued with a deep love for humanity and who prayed daily for mankind.
