Activities for the Armed Services
South Carolina
A soldier stationed in South Carolina wrote as follows about a healing he had received through the work of a Christian Science Representative in the Armed Services :
"One hot Sunday afternoon I returned to the fort after attending a Christian Science service in a branch church. From the bus stop to my barracks was a mile-long walk. The sun was very strong, and as I walked, I began to feel more and more uncomfortable from the heat. By the time I reached the barracks, I was manifesting many of the symptoms of heat exhaustion depicted in various Army training films.
