"NO FURTHER"
God revealed Himself to Job as saying to the sea (38:11), "Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed." One remembers these words when he sees the strength of Christian Science stop the boastful action of the carnal mind, nullify its claim to strength, and restore order.
The wonder of the age is that traditional concepts, mortal fears, and primitive instincts built up by unnumbered generations of mortals are often quickly abandoned once the true idea of God and man, revealed by Science, is accepted.
One comes to expect such transformation. He recognizes "No further" as the mandate of Christian Science to all evil beliefs, and the tide of mortal mind begins to recede in his thought. We shall see stayed the proud wave of political tyranny, economic immorality, and religious ignorance as men gain a hint of the law of Christ, the truth of love and justice.
