The testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals have always been a source of help and inspiration to me. I should like to express my gratitude for the benefits I have received from this practical religion.

While in college it was necessary for me to be away from the campus for several days. Upon my return I found that the next day there was to be an examination in a subject which was most difficult for me.

That evening I tried to study for the examination but found that nothing was coherent to me because the fear was so great. Finding that my efforts were of no avail, I picked up one of the Christian Science periodicals and read most of it. No particular thought stood out to me. However, when I again resumed studying, I found that the fear had lifted, and I was able to think clearly. The examination was passed successfully.
