THE NATURALNESS OF HEALING
Christian Science teaches that man is created and sustained by God, who is good. As mankind understand this fact, it will be natural for them to express power, completeness, and joy in their daily lives.
Mary Baker Eddy says in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 200): "It was the consummate naturalness of Truth in the mind of Jesus, that made his healing easy and instantaneous. Jesus regarded good as the normal state of man, and evil as the abnormal."
The Master accomplished his healings easily and instantaneously, because he logically and prayerfully identified himself with God, good. Jesus reflected Godlike qualities of humility, love, justice, and wisdom. His healings were the inevitable result of the clear recognition of God and of man's harmonious and unbroken relationship to Him. Thus these healings were divinely natural.
