The testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals have helped me very much; so I should like to submit my expression of gratitude in the hope that it may help others in their growth Spiritward. When a member of my family was told by a doctor that he would never walk again, he called for the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and within a few weeks he was healed.

For the privilege of having been reared in a Christian Science family, I am sincerely grateful. When I was a child, so-called children's diseases were quickly overcome, without any material means, by our relying only upon God. My own children have also been wonderfully protected and spiritually guided when exposed to contagious diseases.

I have witnessed numerous proofs of the healing power of God, divine Mind, through my own study or through the help of Christian Science practitioners. These proofs have included the overcoming of laryngitis, mastoiditis, influenza, infection, warts, athlete's foot, heartburn, and arthritis. I was also freed from the need of wearing glasses, and I have experienced painless childbirth. Many unpleasant traits of character have been and are being overcome; but I am most grateful for the spiritual understanding always gained from each experience, because every trial proves to be a blessing.
